The Pelican Paddlers were founded in 2005 and are dedicated to provide the community with the highest quality and commitment in helping people enjoy the outdoors activities using kayaks and canoes.

The Pelican Paddlers promote the safe and enjoyment enviroment of kayak and canoe paddling in Southwest Louisiana with an emphasis on fitness, recreation, enjoyment of nature, and people.

Pelican Paddlers of Lake Charles, Louisiana is a Paddle America Club affiliated with the American Canoe Association (ACA).
